So for April Fools, Yahoo decided to poke fun at its own industry by innovating a way for people to touch grass and not take things so seriously.
Introducing the Agricultural Interface Touch Grass Keyboard: the newest to look productive while you’re really just touching grass.

First we teased the grass keyboard without any context. It went viral with thousands of people asking “is that a grass keyboard?”.
550k likes, 3000 comments, 106k sends on reels (yes that’s me)
Then, on April 1st, we revealed the newest in Yahoo innovation with a Tech Porn style video that poked fun at how dramatic the tech industry can be. It sold out in 20 minutes on the TikTok shop.
But first, on March 31st, we teased a new “innovation” on the way.
After the release of the Touch Grass Keyboard, we dropped more connect to keep people engaged.
We fast-followed with macro shots the keyboard.
People who bought the keyboard received gardening kits so they could keep their touch looking tip-top.
